'TreeStreetView' is a citizen science/art project that is aiming to encourage members of the public to collaborate in mapping and monitoring trees across the world.  It is an application of Google Instant StreetView to locate and record 'roadside trees ' that draw attention to themselves.   The purpose is to increase public awareness of the arboreal heritage of roadside and the many benefits that trees bring us.
